Supporting our Staff

Through adopting-a-teacher, supporting field trips, funding learning intervention  programs and more our PTSA funds support Bay Farm’s teachers and staff.

Each year, teachers put together a list of suggested classroom supplies. While this year is a bit different from normal, the flexible program teachers have developed a list of suggested supplies to support students during the first 30 days.

The staff wish lists document everyday classroom needs (i.e. hand sanitizer) and items that can be used throughout the year (i.e. our nurses’ office needs a new temporal thermometer). We’ll update

Here at Bay Farm we work together to adopt all our teachers. When you donate to Adopt-a-Teacher, you are giving our teachers more of the valuable funds they need to support learning opportunities for their classroom. These funds go directly to the teachers and are used at the teacher’s discretion.

Our goal is to get 100% of the teachers adopted including PE, Music, Spanish, the Outdoor Learning Center and Media Center!

A recommended donation is $25 per child; however, you are welcome contribute more towards adopting your student’s teachers. A full teacher adoption is $500. Please add a note to your donation so that we know it goes towards adopting your student’s teachers.

Bay Farm’s disaster preparedness plan has evolved into a comprehensive and efficient plan that will ensure the best care for students, teachers, and staff should an emergency occur during the school day. Bay Farm School’s plan has been the model for many other schools in Alameda and is a source of pride for the Bay Farm Staff and the PTSA.

The PTSA uses Konstella to support school-wide and intra-classroom communications between parents.
